How can we help?

Vodafone Business customers with 10+ connections can trade-in old mobile phones and tablets for credit to be applied towards your account. Your old devices can be traded-in at any time after you’ve paid your first invoice and before the last six months of your contract period. The trade-in credit you receive will vary depending on the model, capacity and condition of each device.

Max 1 trade-in per mobile number every 12 months. Minimum of 10 devices must be traded at a time. Eligible devices and trade-in values subject to change. International device variants aren’t eligible for trade-in. ABN/ACN holders only. Powered by Asurion®. T&C apply.

To begin the trade-in process, contact your Personal Account Manager.

Good Working Order

To receive the full trade-in value for the mobile phones or tablets you’re trading in, it’s important that they’re in Good Working Order. A device that’s not in Good Working Order may receive a lower trade-in value or have no trade-in value at all.

A mobile phone/tablet is considered in Good Working Order when:

  • It functions normally, including touch screen, buttons and microphone
  • It’s free from physical damage, including cracks in the screen/back or dents in the frame (normal wear and tear is accepted)
  • It’s free from catastrophic damage (including liquid damage) that prevents the device from turning on
  • It’s free from all activation locks (such as Find My iPhone, Find My Device) and isn’t IMEI blocked

Here are the steps to trade-in your devices

Business customers with 10+ connections can trade-in their old mobile phones and tablets by following the steps below.

Contact your Personal Account Manager

Your Account Manager will send you a form to fill out with information about the devices you’re trading in. From this form, Asurion will provide a quote of your trade-in value.

Prepare your trade-in devices

If you wish to proceed with the trade-in, your Account Manager will let Asurion know. Back up/transfer any important data on your phone. Remove any SIM cards, cases, memory cards or activation locks, then perform a factory reset.

Asurion will pick up your devices

You’ll receive packaging instructions and materials and Asurion will arrange for a pick up service to collect your devices. Once Asurion has received the devices, they’ll assess and confirm their trade-in value.

Receive your trade-in credit

Your Account Manager will confirm the trade-in value with you, and if you’re happy with the quote, the trade-in credit will be applied to your Vodafone account.
