We’ve expanded our network coverage

In early 2025, Vodafone expanded its network coverage throughout Australia, from around 400,000 to 1,000,000 square kilometres.

What is the new regional network and how will it affect me?

Vodafone’s new network will cover 98.4 per cent of the Australian population. You will immediately have access to nearly one million square kilometres of coverage, including 5G in areas where it is already available.

When will the new regional network be available?

The new network was turned on in early 2025.

How do I check Vodafone’s coverage in my area or in a particular location?

Do I have to do anything to my phone or plan to get access to the regional network?

No. Our mobile customers will immediately have access to nearly one million square kilometres of coverage, including 5G on compatible devices in areas where it is already available.

Will you be increasing prices because of the new regional network?

We do not have plans to increase mobile prices because of the regional network arrangement. 

I’m having issues with my coverage. How do I check for network connection disruptions, outages or upgrades?
