Sensational offer shows Vodafone’s commitment to Australian small business
New offer helps small businesses ring in the new financial year
Vodafone has strengthened its commitment to small business in Australia, announcing today that new and existing business customers who become a Ready Business for 24 months with the $70 Red Business Grow plan or above with between five and nine connections will save 25% on access fees for up to 24 months, while Ready Businesses on those plans with at least ten connections will save 50% on access fees for up to 24 months1 if they connect or upgrade before 30 September 2015.
With this offer new and existing business customers could be up to $1,680 per connection better off on Vodafone 24 month $70 and above Red Business Grow plans*.
For example, a small business with five connections on Vodafone’s $70 Red Business Grow plan would save $2,100 in access fees over 24 months while a business with 10 connections on the $100 Red Business Grow plan would save $12,000 in access fees over the life of a 24 month contract.
The news comes on the eve of the National Small Business Summit which is held annually by the Council of Small Business of Australia. The summit, sponsored by Vodafone, will take a closer look at the issues holding back Australian small businesses and the opportunities which could help them prosper.
Vodafone’s Executive General Manager Enterprise Business Unit, Stuart Kelly, said these moves show Vodafone is serious about stepping up its commitment to the small business sector and helping Australian businesses become better connected.
“We know that small business is the lifeblood of this economy and we want to help these businesses continue to grow by offering them even better value”, said Mr Kelly.
Vodafone to power Australian small businesses to become ‘Ready Businesses’
“A Ready Business has the power to thrive today and prepare for tomorrow and our Ready Business plans have been designed to support small businesses both today and in the future. This means you can expect enhanced coverage, fast 4G speeds2 and great value that travels with you.
“We realise that small businesses employ almost half^ of the Australians working in the private sector so it’s important that these businesses and their employees are mobilised and getting the best possible value for their money.”
Vodafone Ready Business plans include infinite standard national talk and TXT as well as generous data inclusions. On top of this, Ready Businesses will receive priority assistance from Vodafone’s local business support centre, while businesses with ten or more connections will enjoy a dedicated account manager.
Mr Kelly said it’s not just cost savings that Vodafone is offering small businesses.
“Following significant investment in the company’s mobile network, Vodafone is so confident in its network reliability that it is now the only telecommunications provider offering small businesses a network satisfaction guarantee.
“To start our relationship on the right foot, we offer new customers a network ‘happiness’ guarantee3: if customers aren’t happy in the first 30 days, they can cancel their contract and only pay for what they’ve used.”
