Vodafone speeds up the future of home broadband
Two new higher speed tiers available for eligible Vodafone nbn™ customers
Vodafone is boosting the choices for consumers looking for higher speed home broadband with two new plans added to its Vodafone nbn™ plan suite.
From today, eligible consumers that sign up to one of Vodafone’s nbn™ plans can now choose from the nbn™ 250 plan or the Ultra nbn™ plan. Ultra nbn™ is Vodafone’s fastest ever home broadband plan and is delivered via nbn™’s Home Ultrafast product, which offers download speeds up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps). ^
Both plans are great for busy households looking to simultaneously stream video, have a responsive online gaming experience and download large files quickly across several devices at the same time.
Vodafone Chief Customer Officer, Ana Bordeianu says that a strong uptake of Vodafone’s Premium nbn™ plan shows that Australians are ready for even faster speeds.
“Around 40% of our customers have chosen our Premium nbn™ plan (nbn™ 100) so we know that there is strong demand for higher speed plans in the Australian market,” said Ms Bordeianu.
“Connected devices are on the rise in Australia, going from 17 devices per household in 2018 to an expected 37 devices per household by 2022*. Couple this trend with increasing working from home, online homework, and streaming services, and it becomes even more important for Australians to have the right home broadband solution.”
“At Vodafone we want to make sure that our plan suite evolves to reflect our customers’ changing needs, and they have the freedom to enjoy the benefits of Vodafone nbn™,” she said.
Vodafone’s nbn™ 250 plan is available for $135 per month. The Ultra nbn™ is available for $155 per month.! Both plans come with unlimited data, Vodafone’s industry leading no lock-in contracts and 4G Back-Up when purchased with the Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub™~.
Tap into even more savings
Vodafone nbn™ plans can also be consolidated with eligible Vodafone services to unlock Bundle and Save discounts off plan fees.
Unique to other telco reward programs in Australia, Bundle and Save gives customers a sliding scale of discounts off eligible plan fees starting from 5% for two services and up to 20% for five services.
“This could reduce the monthly plan fee of Vodafone nbn™ 250 down from $135 to as low as $108 per month when bundled with four other eligible plans,” Ms Bordeianu added.
Eligible customers can sign up to the newly available Vodafone nbn™ 250 and Ultra nbn™ plans by visiting their local Vodafone store or by contacting our Care team.
