What is a SIM only plan?

Also known as BYO plans, our SIM Only Plans are perfect if you already have your own phone. The plans come with heaps of data to use in Australia, unlimited standard national calls and text, and selected plans come with standard international call minutes. With a SIM Only Plan, you’ll only be paying for your plan cost each month without any device repayment fees.

I haven’t received my Student ID card yet. Can I still get the student exclusive offer?

Yes. You can use your student ID number, which is often found on your enrolment letter, or on other correspondence received from your tertiary education provider.

Can I bring my own 5G device?

You can bring your own compatible 5G device to Vodafone to use with a SIM Only Plan. If you purchased a 5G device from another provider, you may not have access to our full 5G coverage. Check out our approved devices to see which have been tested and optimised for use on Vodafone’s network.

Can I bring my current number across to Vodafone?

Yes. Once you’ve signed up to a plan, fill out our Customer Authorisation Form so that we can bring your current number across to us.

Eligible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 bonus trade-in credit pre-order offer
You are entering into these Offer Terms and Conditions with TPG Telecom Ltd (‘Vodafone’). Personal use for approved customers only. Standard Device Discount offer
Device Discount is a monthly recurring credit applied against your Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) repayment and is only available to eligible customers which, depending on the eligibility for each specific device discount offer, may include (i) new customers; (ii) existing customers adding an additional service; or (iii) existing customers upgrading their device (collectively, ‘Eligible Customer’). To qualify for this offer, Eligible Customers must sign up or upgrade to an eligible Consumer Postpaid Plan (‘Eligible Plan’), purchase an eligible device on a Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) and stay connected over 12, 24 or 36 months. Device Discounts may vary depending on the device (as advertised), and some Device Discounts may not be available over a MPP repayment period of 12 months. Not applicable for customers purchasing a device outright. The Device Discount will apply for the length of your chosen MPP repayment period (12, 24 or 36 months). If you cancel your plan or MPP, the Device Discount will be forfeited, and your device will be charged in full on your next bill at the undiscounted rate (i.e., 100% of your remaining undiscounted device repayments x months remaining). Invitation-only $250 credit offer

Bundle & Save - ends 16 August 2025
Bundle & Save discounts are available to (a) new customers who connect two or more Eligible Plans on the same billing account; OR (b) existing customers with an Eligible Plan who: add one or more eligible services to their billing account or who upgrade or switch an ineligible Plan to an Eligible Plan; OR (c) existing customers who have two Eligible Plans.

Eligible Plans are: All Postpaid voice plans of $30 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plan, Business Flex Plans, BYOD Plans, Extra Large Plans, Large Promo and Extra Large Promo Plans); Tablet Plans of $30 and above released on or after June 27 2018; Modem Plans of $20 and above released on or after July 2 2020; Vodafone Infinite Data Plans of $20 and above. Excludes nbn™ Plans, 4G Home Internet Plans and 5G Home Internet Plans.

Customers will receive a percentage discount off each Eligible Plan’s access fees (5% off two plans, 10% off three plans, 15% off four plans or 20% off five or more plans) when active on a single billing account. Note MPP, APP or Add-On fees are not discounted. The Bundle & Save discount is calculated from the first full bill cycle and updated monthly as eligible services are added or removed. Any second service discounts are replaced by the applicable Bundle & Save discount. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted amount x months remaining. Bundle and Save offer change from 17 August 2025
Bundle & Save plan fee discounts are available to new or existing customers who have two or more Eligible Plans under one billing account. 

Eligible Plans are: All Postpaid voice plans of $34 and above released on or after July 25 2018 (excluding Assured Plan, Business Flex Plans, BYOD Plans, Team Plans, Promo Plans, Holding Plans, Hardship Plans, Extra Small Plan and Extra Large Plans).  

One Eligible Plan on a billing account will be recognised as the primary service and it will be undiscounted (Primary Service). Each additional Eligible Plan added on the same billing account as the Primary Service will receive a discount as follows: $5 off the monthly plan fee of the second Eligible Plan, and $15 off the monthly plan fee for each subsequent Eligible Plan up to a maximum of 10 Eligible Plans. Note: only the monthly plan fee of an Eligible Plan will be discounted as noted above, and all other charges, including but not limited to the following are not discounted via Bundle and Save, MPP, APP or any Add On (booster, packs, roaming, Numbersync). 

The Bundle & Save discount is available on a month to month basis, is calculated from the first eligible full bill cycle and updated monthly in line with the above discount structure as Eligible Plans are added or cancelled. If the Primary Service is cancelled, another Eligible Plan will automatically be allocated as the undiscounted Primary Service. If early exit fees apply to an Eligible Plan they are calculated using the undiscounted plan fee amount x months remaining, unless otherwise advised.  

This revised Bundle and Save discount is available from 17th August 2025 and will supersede any prior Bundle and Save discount construct and the two do not stack. This offer is subject to change.

Student offer on plan fees on Vodafone Infinite Plans
Plan fee discount available to (i) approved students with a valid student ID and email signing up to a new eligible Vodafone Infinite Plan: Small or Small SIM Only Plan; Medium or Medium SIM Only Plan and Large or Large SIM Only Plan (‘Eligible Plan’); (ii) students adding an additional Eligible Plan to their account and (iii) students upgrading their handset and signing up to an Eligible Plan in-store or via customer care channels only (handset upgrades are not available via digital channel) (‘Eligible Customers’). Offer available from 8/07/2025 to 31/07/2025 (unless extended) (‘Promotional Period’). Discount is applied for the following period: (i) for customers with a Mobile Payment Plan (MPP), Discount is applied for the first 12, 24 or 36 months depending on your chosen MPP period, or (ii) for customers with a SIM Only plan, Discount is applied for your first 12 months (collectively, "Discount Term"). Discount is applied as a recurring monthly credit for the relevant Discount Term and on plan fees only. At the end of the relevant Discount Term, the minimum monthly spend will revert to the undiscounted monthly plan fees, or as otherwise notified by Vodafone. Discount forfeited if you cancel, change or upgrade your Eligible Plan. Existing customers who change from another plan are excluded from this offer. This offer can be used in conjunction with the following (if you are eligible): Bundle and Save, device discounts, trade-in and other student offers, but cannot be used with any other promotional offer, unless specified. Services subject to capabilities, network limitations & customer location. Offer not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Subject to change.

$5 Roaming
Use your included data, call and text allowances in Eligible Destinations for an additional $5 per day. However data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps is not accessible while $5 Roaming. Eligible Destinations are subject to change, see current list and full details here www.vodafone.com.au/roaming. Available to eligible customers, see terms for details specific to your plan. $5 Daily Charge is in addition to minimum monthly spend.  Once your included data is exhausted, additional data will be automatically added at a charge of $5/GB ($0.005/MB) (“Additional Roaming Data”). Additional Roaming Data expires at the end of your next billing period, is shareable (excludes plans with unlimited data which do not share data) and can only be used while in Eligible Destinations. Max 90 days of use in any calendar year. Opt-out at any time, visit My Vodafone or call 1555. All roaming services are subject to network availability.

Vodafone Infinite SIM Only Plans
For personal use by approved customers only. You must supply your own handset in order to sign up to this plan – you cannot purchase a phone from Vodafone on instalments with this plan. Inclusions expire after 1 month unless otherwise stated. Plan excludes Premium Services, 1223, & 1225 directory services, 123 Ask-Us-Anything, International Roaming, content purchases, call screen and charges for additional data and additional standard international calls.

Minimum monthly spend is $53, $63 or $73. Total minimum cost is one month of your monthly plan fees. Must connect for minimum one month. Recurring monthly plan fee charged until the end of the month in which you notify that you wish to cancel.
