This support article will show you how to preserve the battery life of your device.
Here are the ways you can prolong the battery life of your device.
Screen brightness.
Reducing the screen brightness helps save power. If there's an option to automatically adjust the brightness of your device, enable it.
Connectivity services.
Disable connectivity services such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS when you’re not using them. They will consume battery life when enabled, even if you’re not actively using them.
Background tasks.
Some apps and device features run in the background, even when you’re not actively using them. Disabling background tasks such as automatic email retrieval, syncing, backups and updates will help reduce battery consumption. It also helps to close or quit apps when you’re not using them.
Most devices have in-built power saving features. Here’s how to access them through your device setting.
