To use Vodafone TV™, you’ll need to have a TV with HDMI support. Here are the steps to set up Vodafone TV™.
Connect the HDMI cable
Connect your Vodafone TV™ to your TV using the HDMI cable provided.
Attach the power cable
Attach the power cable to your Vodafone TV™. The light on the front should start blinking.
Connect to the internet
Use either Wi-Fi or the Ethernet cable provided to connect your Vodafone TV™ to the internet.
Insert batteries
Insert batteries into the back of your remote control.

Troubleshooting for the Vodafone TV™

The Vodafone TV™ is crashing, running slowly or not starting at all.
Try these troubleshooting steps.
Perform a soft reset. On the bottom of the Vodafone TV™, locate the ‘Reset’ button. Using a ballpoint pen or paperclip, press down on the button for less than 4 seconds and release it to restart the box. If you press the button for more than 4 seconds, this will initiate a full factory reset.
Perform a power cycle. Unplug the power cable from the Vodafone TV™ for 1 minute, then reconnect it.
Perform a factory reset. On the bottom of the Vodafone TV™, locate the ‘Reset’ button. Using a ballpoint pen or paperclip, press down on the button for more than 4 seconds or until you see the ‘Factory data reset’ screen. Follow the prompts on-screen. Please keep in mind that a factory reset will delete any settings or installed apps on your Vodafone TV™.
The remote control isn’t working properly.
Try these troubleshooting steps.
Confirm that the remote has power. Press any button on the remote. If you see a red LED light flash on top of the remote, it has power.
Reset the remote. Remove all the batteries, then press all buttons on the remote to deplete any power left. Then re-insert the batteries.
Change batteries. Replace the current batteries with new batteries.
Perform a factory reset for your remote. Press the ‘TV’ and ‘OK’ buttons on your remote together for less than 4 seconds. The red LED light will flash three times and then turn off.

Check picture quality settings. Navigate to ‘Settings’ by selecting the cog icon on the Vodafone TV™ home screen. Select ‘Display’ and then ‘Screen resolution’. Check that ‘Auto switch to best resolution’ is on.
Run an external internet speed test. Open an internet browser and head to the speed test website. Click ‘Begin Test’ and check the download speed results. Your connection should be over 25Mbps to stream 4K video, over 7Mbps for HD or over 3Mbps for SD.
I’m unable to connect to the internet through my Vodafone TV™.

I’m unable to watch free-to-air digital TV.
Check your aerial cable. Make sure it is firmly connected and hasn’t come loose. Also check to make sure it hasn’t been damaged.
Run TV tuning. Press the TV icon on your remote control to launch the TV application. On ‘Set up your sources’ screen, select ‘TV channels’. The TV channel scan will start – this takes a few minutes. If any channels are found, Vodafone TV™ will save and return to the ‘Set up your sources’ screen. Under ‘TV channels’, the number of digital TV channels found will be listed. Select ‘Done’. The TV application will play the first channel in the program list. To access the program guide, press the ‘OK’ button whileusing the TV application to bring up the menu.
