From 5 October 2021 the information in your combined Financial Services Guide (FSG) and Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) has been updated, but your cover and premium will stay the same.
The following combined FSG/PDS have been updated:
- Vodafone Keep Talking Insurance Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement (dated 2 March 2021)
- Vodafone Keep Talking Plus Insurance Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement (dated 2 March 2021)
The changes to the relevant combined FSG/PDSs apply from 5 October 2021.
Any terms used on this page have the same meaning as defined in the relevant PDS.
What has and hasn’t changed?
Your premium and cover under the relevant policy hasn’t changed.
- The changes to the relevant combined FSG/PDS as at 5 October 2021 are: Risk Insure Pty Ltd have changed their name to Likewize Services Pty Ltd. All previous references to Risk Insure Pty Ltd in any of the documents you have received now should be substituted with Likewize Services Pty Ltd (Likewize).
- Complaints and Dispute Resolutions” section - we will provide a final response to your complaints within 30 days and not 45 days as stated in the relevant PDS.
- The FSG provides updates to the services that Likewize Services Pty Ltd are authorised to provide from 1 January 2022, these changes are.
- Risk Insure is an Australian Financial Services licensee authorised to advise on and deal in general insurance (and has been authorised to provide claims handling and settling services on behalf of the insurer Hollard under its licence from 1 January 2022 in relation to this insurance. Risk Insure has a binder agreement with Hollard, which enables it to issue, vary, cancel, renew and handle and settle claims under this insurance as agent for Hollard. Risk Insure does not act for You in providing its services.
When Vodafone arranges for the issue, renewal, variation or cancellation of Your insurance and collects the Premium for Your insurance, it acts on behalf of Risk Insure and Hollard and not on Your behalf. It is not authorised to provide any claims handing and settling financial services and may only refer claimants to Risk Insure. Risk Insure is responsible for the financial services provided to You by Vodafone.
When Risk Insure issues, varies, cancels, renews or handles or settles claims in relation to the policy it acts on behalf of Hollard and not on Your behalf. If Risk Insure or Vodafone provides advice to You, it will be general advice only and will not take into account Your individual objectives, financial situation or needs.
