Vodafone Infinite, Team, Vodafone Infinite Data, Extra Large Plans, Large Promo Plans, Extra Large Promo Plans and BYOD Plans are intended to be used with your personal mobile phone or tablet and are not suitable for modems. You are permitted to tether other personal devices, such as your laptop, to your mobile phone or tablet by creating a mobile hotspot from your mobile or tablet via Wi-Fi.
However these plans must not be used to provide tethering to other people's devices (for example the devices of members of your household, colleagues or friends), nor used as a substitute for a home internet service or in a modem. Consider our Vodafone nbn® or 4G Home Internet Plan (subject to availability at your address) if you are looking for home internet options.
The Ultra+ Plus plan has an extra 30GB Hotspot included data for hotspotting (tethering) from your mobile phone to your other personal devices only. Once you’ve used 30GB Hotspot data, you can continue to use Hotspot data at speeds of up to 2Mbps – 2Mbps is great for browsing, social media and streaming music. Not suitable for HD video.
Heavy data users may experience slower speeds than other users during busy periods. This means in periods of congestion or peak periods, a heavy data user may receive lower priority on our Network. This may result in reduced speeds compared to other users.
For personal use in Australia for approved customers only. Team Plans are for approved small business customers with a valid ABN or ACN linked to the customer's account. For Vodafone Infinite Plan and Vodafone Infinite Data Plan details, check out our mobile hub page.
